Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an experienced accounting professional to maintain the integrity of the general ledgers for multiple not-for-profit and healthcare entities. You will produce and communicate monthly and annual financial statements to management and the Board in line with management timelines.

The role requires at least five years of GAAP accounting experience in not-for-profit and healthcare sectors, CPA preferred, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience with not-for-profit and healthcare GAAP accounting required.
• Knowledge and experience with annual budgeting process for a $30-$40 million sized multi-company operation preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Significant knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the general ledgers for assigned companies.
• Produce, distribute, and communicate monthly and annual financial statements to management, department directors, and Board of Directors.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to sub-ledgers and approve weekly accounts payable for disbursement.
• Coordinate with Billing Department Director to obtain and record revenue and contractual allowance adjustments.
• Maintain and review monthly transactions to the fixed asset module in MAS and ensure sub-ledger reconciles to each company’s general ledger.
• Provide support to Accounts Payable Specialist as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate annual financial statement and A-133 compliance audits with independent auditors.
• Assist in the preparation of requested tax information to facilitate timely filings of the various returns.
• Prepare and communicate internal control policies and procedures throughout the Continuum.
• Perform other necessary tasks as assigned by the CEO and CFO.
