Job summary

Andritz Hydro Corp. in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Finance Controller to lead core activities, drive financial discipline, and provide actionable insights for project-driven EPC operations.

Responsibilities include close, AP leadership, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls aligned with IFRS. The role requires strong SAP experience, 5+ years in similar roles, and ability to partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Financial Controller, senior accounting, or FP&A; EPC project environment preferred.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and month-end close experience.
• Proven project accounting expertise including WBS, cost centers, revenue recognition, and cost-to-complete.
• Leadership experience managing AP or transactional finance teams.
• SAP experience (FI/CO, PS, MM) and advanced Excel; Power BI reporting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes with accurate statements and reports.
• Lead Accounts Payable; vendor setup, three-way matching, payments, and AP aging optimization.
• Drive budgeting and rolling forecasts with operations; monitor vs. plan and adjust.
• Forecast weekly cash flow and working capital; coordinate with Treasury on funding and FX matters.
• Maintain internal controls, policies, and reconciliations; support audits; IFRS compliance.
• Provide financial analysis, KPIs, dashboards, and “what-if” insights for decision-making.
• Coach and develop finance team; collaborate with Ops, Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, Commercial.
• Promote automation and process improvements using SAP, Excel, and BI tools.
