Job summary

Wisteria in Woodland Hills, CA is hiring a Controller for full-time, on-site work. You will manage budgeting, cash flow, and Master Trust activities, while supporting residents’ financial needs and coordinating with directors.

Strong GAAP knowledge and 3+ years in GL/AP/AR/payroll are required. You will lead accounting staff, prepare regulatory reports, and assist with audits, payroll, and new initiatives in a growing continuing care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum three years hands-on experience with G/L, A/P, A/R and payroll.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls required.
• Experience with audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial management including budget prep and cash flow.
• Collaborate on resident move-in finances and master trust management.
• Maintain Master Trust reconciliations and onsite repayments.
• Provide accounting support to residents and staff during office hours.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and billing processes.
• Support annual audit preparation and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee payroll review and approval.
• Participate in budgeting with executive leadership.
