Job summary

Job Juncture in El Paso, TX seeks a Finance Controller to lead plant-level financial control, forecasting, and reporting. You will prepare management information, ensure accuracy of COGS analyses, and coordinate audits with internal and external teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in controller roles, and strong English/Spanish communication. CPA/MBA preferred; experience with US GAAP is essential.

• 10+ years Manufacturing Accounting with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Review financial results for the manufacturing plants.
• Prepare Management Information for the plants.

• Review FCCS reporting and annual financials.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting and monthly outlook.

Job description

Position: Finance Controller

Key responsibilities

1. Review financial results for the manufacturing plants
2. Preparation of Management Information for the plants
3. COGS analytical report generation and publication
4. Review and sign off of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for plants
5. Review of FCCS reporting, and annual signed financials.
6. Financial data for operations
7. Manage the process for financial forecasting, budgets and monthly outlook
8. Preparation of all financial reports. Oversee treasury and insurance activities
9. Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
10. Implement and oversee internal controls. Manage internal and external audits
11. Weekly Flash Report Templates and organize meetings with all HOD’s and explain variances
12. Input and completion of the monthly management letter
13. Report cost savings initiatives and progress for operations monthly.
14. Management of CAPEX spending, approvals and reporting monthly

Audits

1. Gather, review and submit information requested from external auditors, and resolve all the queries.
2. Coordinate with internal auditor and resolve the queries
3. Coordinate for any other type of audits

• Coordinate stock takes and reporting of results
• Cost Rolls
• Coordinate with all involved for the annual cost rolls and publish results

Accounting

• Warranty and Price accruals
• Excess and Obsolete process, review and results
• Variance Capitalization

Taxation

Review Federal and state tax, Local and Freeport Exemption liabilities.

Budget

1. Responsible for complete guidance and review of the manufacturing plants.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance minimum

5. 5+ years Controller Experience
6. 10+ years Manufacturing Accounting with proven increased responsibility
