The Foundry, Dotdash Meredith's native content studio, seeks an Associate Editor, Finance to lead finance-focused content across digital, print, and social channels. You will collaborate with art directors, designers, strategists, marketers, and freelancers to deliver timely, accurate finance stories that align with advertiser needs.

The role involves managing multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines, and reporting to the Director of Finance Content.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English/Creative Writing, or equivalent writing/editing experience.
Minimum of 2 years as a writer/editor/copywriter for print and digital publishers or agency settings.
Experience or strong interest in finance and financial topics.

Responsabilités

Assign native articles across brands for finance advertisers and provide writers with brand messaging documents and style guides.
Recruit and manage experienced freelancers to grow the department’s vetted writer list.
Conduct first-edit reviews to balance brand voice with advertiser messaging.
Write engaging content — articles, landing pages, video outlines or scripts, and social posts across platforms.
