Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a US Finance Compliance Lead to supervise a small team, providing best-in-class compliance support to the US Market Finance group. The role reports to the US Finance Lead and dotted-line to the Human Health US Compliance Lead.

The position oversees policies, audits, training, controls, and remediation, ensuring accuracy in data, governance, and adherence to SOX and related financial requirements, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10 years of business experience, preferably in pharma/healthcare.
• MBA preferred.
• Excellent project management, problem solving, and oral/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee policies, processes, audit/monitoring management, training, certifications, quarterly controls, risk assessments, third party audits, and remediation activities.
• Ensure US Market Finance Compliance Plan requirements are met.
• Facilitate annual SOX audit with internal and external auditors.
• Coordinate annual reviews and training on internal controls and SOPs.
