Job summary

Corning's Solar business seeks a Senior Business Analyst (Finance) to partner with manufacturing, operations, engineering and supply chain to drive financial performance.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and month-end close, delivering actionable insights and KPI reporting to site leadership, while supporting SOX compliance and continuous improvement across finance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance or accounting.
• 5+ years in finance, FP&A, cost accounting, or plant finance.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and supply chain leaders to monitor performance.
• Lead monthly financial reporting, analysis, and close.
• Analyze variances vs budget and forecast.
• Support cost analysis, performance reporting, and financial recommendations.
• Develop financial KPIs and operational metrics for leaders.
• Ensure accuracy of GL transactions and reconciliations.
• Support SOX compliance and audits.
• Drive improvements in financial processes and data visibility.
