Qualifications

Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.

About the Role

We have an opportunity available for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Property Finance team. This role will see you lead the planning and performance processes for property, including new space incremental sales, capital, opex and write offs, focusing on continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.

Please note: This role is a 12-month fixed term contract, parental cover.

You will also;

  • Lead and coordinate the new space pipeline, which includes the preparation of monthly reporting, forecasting and KPI performance over the Corporate Plan horizon
  • Provide insight into performance to support monthly, quarterly and half/full year reporting requirements, including understanding key historical trends, lead indicators, KPI tracking and impact on forecasts
  • Partner with Property and Finance teams to coordinate and prepare monthly reporting including facilitation and analysis against KPIs & Budget for senior management, meeting group finance obligations, investor relations, board reporting, and ad hoc analysis
  • Ownership of the bottom up forecasting process to drive accuracy, identifying and communicating emerging gaps and opportunities to plan with the business and management
  • Identify and quantify activities that impact forecasts, with risks and opportunities understood and measured

About you and your skills


We’re looking for a strong financial business partnering background, ideally within the Property space, or retail/FMCG. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to educate financial and non-financial stakeholders, as well as be comfortable challenging and influencing key stakeholders and working cross-functionally to deliver what’s required.

You will also ideally have;

  • CA/CPA or similar, with commercial awareness and business focus
  • Excellent data manipulation and analytical skills
  • Strong Excel, PowerBI, TM1, financial modelling, and PowerPoint skills
