Job summary

Lazada is seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partner to lead financial partnering for its Thailand logistics operations, covering fulfillment centers and the delivery network, operated by both in-house and 3rd party partners. You will analyze unit economics, drive operational productivity, and manage budgeting and forecasting in close collaboration with local operations and regional finance.

You will validate volume allocation and present insights to senior leadership in Logistics and Finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in business partnering, ideally in logistics, e-commerce, or fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong business acumen and analytical capability to interpret business and financial models; familiarity with logistics networks and related financial modeling is a plus.
• Hands-on attitude with willingness to dive deep into data and operations as needed. Advanced Excel skill is required, BI tools, AI, and SQL skills are strong advantages.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate cross-functional and cross-cultural environments.
• Proficiency in SAP and Anaplan is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Thai, both spoken and written. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial business partnering for Lazada's Thailand logistics operations, covering fulfillment centers and the delivery network, operated by both in-house and 3rd party partners.
• Analyze unit economics (e.g., cost-per-order, labor efficiency) to drive operational productivity and optimize variable warehousing costs.
• Collaborate with local operations teams to manage profitability and cost efficiency, identify cost-saving opportunities across all logistics segments.
• Provide in-depth analysis and insights to business to support decision making.
• Drive the monthly budgeting and forecasting process in close alignment with operational stakeholders and regional finance.
• Validate volume allocation strategy to ensure parcels are distributed in a cost-optimized and operationally efficient manner across networks.
• Prepare financial reports and conduct performance reviews with stakeholders including senior management in both Logistics and Finance.
• Conduct investment analyses to ensure upcoming projects align with profitability and payback expectations.
• Oversee commercial pricing proposals to support delivery service expansion.
• Partner with local controllership and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial bookings and timely month-end closing.

• Collaborate closely with local operations teams to manage profitability and cost efficiently, identify cost-saving opportunities across all logistics segments, including first mile, sortation, linehaul, last mile delivery and warehousing.
• Provide in depth analysis and insights to business to support decision making.
• Drive the monthly budgeting and forecasting process in close alignment with operational stakeholders and regional finance.
• Validate volume allocation strategy to ensure parcels are distributed in a cost-optimized and operationally efficient manner across networks.
• Prepare financial reports and conduct performance review with stakeholders including senior management in both Logistics and Finance.
• Conduct investment analysis to ensure upcoming projects align with group profitability and payback expectations.

Candidate to be based in Bangkok Emporium Tower office, with around 2 visits/week to logistics office or when needed.

Job Requirements

• Solid academic background with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field such as Business or Logistics Management.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in business partnering, ideally in logistics, e-commerce, or fast-paced operational environment. Experience in supply chain would be beneficial.
