Maersk is seeking a Finance Business Partner to drive financial performance in collaboration with Product and Delivery heads. You will support planning, forecasting, and reporting while partnering with operations and commercial teams to optimize profitability.

The role emphasizes building models, performing variance analyses, and presenting actionable insights to leadership. Domestic travel and a strong grasp of financial mechanics are pluses for success.

Qualifications

• Quantitative experience 1-3 years
• Mastery of Excel
• Financial analysis capabilities
• Basic understanding of accounting
• Creative thinking/problem solving
• Communication skills to talk to stakeholders with various backgrounds/level of understanding financials
• Domestic travel expected ~2% of time (visit 1-2 stations per year)

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across revenue, gross profit and EBIT
• Partner with operations and commercial teams to drive data-backed decisions and optimize profitability
• Assist in month-end close with variance analyses, accruals and revenue recognition reconciliations
• Build and maintain financial models and dashboards for scenario planning and pricing
• Collaborate on annual budget and long-range planning with linkages to operational levers
• Translate financial insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams
• Ensure data integrity by coordinating with accounting and data teams to resolve issues
• Participate in ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects to support strategic priorities
• Continuously seek opportunities to streamline reporting and improve forecast accuracy
