Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Business Partner in Greensboro, NC to partner with Sales & Marketing and cross-functional teams on financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision support for FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.

The role reports to the Director of Commercial Finance and follows a hybrid schedule with onsite presence required two days per week. 8+ years of manufacturing FP&A experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior Finance Business Partner experience.
• Experience with FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.
• Experience working with SAP and/or SAP BPC.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities while owning FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasting tools, ROI analyses, and scenario planning models using Excel, SAP BPC, and SAP Analytics solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Research & Development, People & Culture, and other leaders to support data-driven decision-making and identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Analyze business performance, investigate variances, and provide actionable recommendations related to volume, pricing, product mix, costs, and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement through KPI development, reporting enhancements, process optimization, automation, and improved financial visibility.

The Finance Business Partner will support commercial performance by partnering closely with Sales & Marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support focused on FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital. Compensation for the Finance Business Partner:

• Salary: $170,000
