Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Business Partner for a long-term opportunity with a leading tobacco manufacturer in Greensboro, NC.

The Finance Business Partner will support commercial performance by partnering with Sales & Marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support focused on FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing FP&A role.
• Experience with FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.
• Experience with SAP and/or SAP BPC.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasting tools, ROI analyses, and scenario planning in Excel, SAP BPC, and SAP Analytics.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D, People & Culture, and other leaders to drive data-driven decisions and identify growth opportunities.
• Analyze performance, investigate variances, and provide recommendations on volume, pricing, product mix, costs, and profitability.
• Drive KPI development, reporting enhancements, process improvements, and improved financial visibility across the organization.

Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Business Partner for a long-term opportunity with a leading tobacco manufacturer in Greensboro, NC. The Finance Business Partner will support commercial performance by partnering closely with Sales & Marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support focused on FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance, this position follows a hybrid schedule with onsite presence required two days per week.

Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities while maintaining ownership of FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasting tools, ROI analyses, and scenario planning models using Excel, SAP BPC, and SAP Analytics solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Research & Development, People & Culture, and other business leaders to support data-driven decision-making and identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Analyze business performance, investigate variances, and provide actionable recommendations related to volume, pricing, product mix, costs, and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement through KPI development, reporting enhancements, process optimization, automation, and improved financial visibility across the organization.

Qualifications of the Finance Business Partner:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior Finance Business Partner experience.
• Experience with FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.
• Experience working with SAP and/or SAP BPC.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling experience.

Compensation for the Finance Business Partner:

• Salary: $170,000
• Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holidays, and Sick Leave where required by law.
• Dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 6%, plus an additional 5% annual company contribution.
