The Role
As the sole Finance professional in the US, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while working closely with our global Finance team in London. Reporting to our CFO, this is a hands‑on, individual contributor role with broad responsibility across FP&A, commercial finance, reporting and financial operations. You’ll work directly with US leadership and global, cross‑functional teams across Sales Operations, Controllership and Bids, providing the insight and challenge needed to drive financial performance, support growth and protect profitability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the day-to-day financial management of the US business, taking a hands‑on approach across FP&A, reporting, commercial finance and operations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning, building the analysis and models needed to support business decisions
- Own the US P&L, monitoring performance against budget and forecast and proactively identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Build and deliver regular financial and commercial reporting across revenue, pipeline, renewals, invoicing, margins and P&L
- Work directly with US Managing Directors to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions and support growth and profitability
- Work closely with our global Finance team to maintain pipeline accuracy, monitor conversion and support revenue forecasting
- Keep on top of client renewal dates and play an active role in supporting the retention and winning of renewal business
- Review and close opportunities in the CRM, ensuring commercial and financial information is accurate and up to date
- Manage the end-to-end invoicing process with paid media suppliers and clients
- Get hands‑on with bid pricing and commercial structuring, reviewing deal models, challenging assumptions and helping to maximise margins
- Review client contracts, ensuring financial and commercial terms are accurate and aligned
- Work directly with Group Controllership in London on accounting, tax, compliance and financial governance
- Continuously improve financial processes, reporting and controls, taking ownership of getting things done rather than simply identifying what needs to change
About You
- A qualified accountant with a strong track record in financial planning & analysis, along with previous business partnering experience.
- Advanced Excel, knowledge of Power BI and financial systems proficiency
- Strong communicator with the ability to think strategically and translate complex financial information into key business actions.
- Comfortable working in fast paced environment with a can‑do attitude to ensure the business has the correct level of support and challenge to deliver strong results.
