Job summary

LHH has an immediate Finance Business Partner Manager opening with a respected organization in Kansas City, MO. This role partners with executives and business unit leaders to drive financial performance, forecasting, long-term planning, and strategic decision-making.

You will own budgeting and reporting for multiple functions, develop business cases and ROI analyses, and present insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• 7+ years FP&A, accounting, or finance business partnering experience.
• Strong modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Experience presenting to executives and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives or transformational projects.
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with financial systems.
• MBA or CPA is a plus.

This role is ideal for a finance/accounting professional who enjoys working beyond traditional reporting responsibilities and partnering directly with leadership to drive financial performance, forecasting, long-term planning, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead finance partner to executive and operational leaders, providing financial guidance and strategic support.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis for multiple business functions.
• Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and investment evaluations to support strategic initiatives.
• Provide visibility into spending trends, cost management opportunities, and resource allocation decisions.
• Lead quarterly forecasting processes and collaborate with business partners to identify risks and opportunities.
• Create executive-level presentations and financial insights to support decision-making.
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and financial planning best practices across the organization.
• Support major business initiatives, growth strategies, and organizational transformation efforts.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive FP&A, Accounting, finance business partnering, strategic finance, or corporate finance experience.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and/or analytical capabilities.
• Experience presenting complex financial information to executives and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives, investments, or transformational projects.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
• MBA or CPA is a plus.
