Job summary

Google Inc. in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Share Finance Business Intelligence Analyst I to build and optimize reporting pipelines, support financial reporting, and translate data into actionable insights for decision-makers.

You will work with Controllership and Finance on data sources, automation, and month-end analysis, supporting products like Play, Google One, Android, Pixel, and Nest. Equity and bonus are part of compensation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, quantitative analysis, or related field.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize reporting pipelines and data infrastructure to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval.
Develop reports, queries, and dashboards by creating complex SQL code to access and consolidate information from various data sources.
Provide ongoing support for data users, including maintenance of reports, queries, dashboards, and troubleshooting end-user access issues.
Partner with Controllership to identify data sources, validate data anomalies, and translate metrics into usable formats for month-end activities.
Train and support the Controllership team to query system financial data and participate in BRD creation.
