Job summary

Smart Energy Water is seeking an experienced AVP of Finance to partner with the executive team and drive strategic financial planning in a fast-growing environment. This hands-on role requires building robust FP&A processes, capital planning, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to influence critical business decisions.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive professional experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent) required.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with structured analytics.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment.
Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint required.
Strong executive presence and ability to communicate with senior executives.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analytics.
Develop and improve cross-functional financial processes and reporting.
Partner with senior leadership to drive capital decisions, M&A and growth initiatives.
