Job summary

Confidential Employer in New York is seeking an experienced finance transactional attorney to manage all stages of sophisticated transactions, including structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing.

You will represent lenders and borrowers in complex middle-market financing and acquisition deals, including private equity financing, senior debt, and mezzanine debt, while advising on documentation and closing. Expect mentorship of junior attorneys and active client development opportunities.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• 5+ years of finance transactional experience.
• Active law license in the state where the attorney will be based.
• Significant experience structuring, documenting, and closing financing transactions.
• Experience with complex financing and acquisition transactions.
• Lender-side and/or borrower-side experience; experience representing both sides is strongly preferred.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States.

• Represent both lenders and borrowers across varied middle-market transactions and industries.
