Job summary

Morgan Stanley is inviting professionals returning to work to join its New York Return to Work program. This 16-week paid opportunity places participants in Finance Associate roles aligned with their background while offering training, mentorship, and development.

The program starts January 18, 2027, and runs through May 7, 2027, in the New York office. Eligible candidates have been out of the workforce for two years or more, with a focus on rebuilding careers in finance.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated accountability, ownership, proactiveness, attention to detail, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly profit and loss reports.
• Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, and financial forecasts.
• Conduct analysis for budget forecasting, stress testing, and financial modeling.
• Support business projects, regulatory reporting, and risk management initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to provide actionable insights and timely reporting.
