Backed by leading infrastructure investors, the firm partners with utilities and large energy users to deploy strategic storage solutions at scale.

The Role

The Finance / Project Finance Associate will be a key member of the corporate finance team, supporting all project and platform-level financial activities. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, this role is ideal for professionals with ~5 years of experience who want to deepen their impact in clean energy infrastructure. The role spans project modeling, capital markets execution, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project finance models for utility-scale battery storage projects
• Perform financial analysis at both asset and corporate levels, including valuation and return profiles
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Support capital raising efforts including tax equity and debt transactions
• Prepare and manage data rooms and transaction deliverables
• Interface with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive deal execution and financial strategy

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, infrastructure investing, or corporate FP&A, preferably in the energy sector
• Strong Excel modeling capabilities and understanding of project finance structures
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related discipline; CPA/CFA a plus
• Familiarity with tax equity and/or structured finance is highly valued
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
