Job summary

Mission Staffing is recruiting for a Fund Finance Associate in New York City. You will be part of a fast-paced private equity environment, supporting capital formation, valuations, and transaction closes for the deal team. The role offers broad exposure across the platform and a path toward CFO-level responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of fund accounting experience, with CPA preferred, and a willingness to work in a high-performance team in-office five days a week.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in fund accounting or related area.
• CPA preferred.
• Open to PE, credit, or hedge fund backgrounds.
• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support capital formation, valuations, and transaction closes for the deal team.
• Fund finance across the PE platform with exposure to CFO-level tasks.
• Mini-CFO style role with broad exposure across the firm.
• Report directly to a senior leader with a track record of talent development.

This role is open as someone moved internally into a front office seat. They are selectively hiring a fast-track, hard working, go getter who wants to elevate their career in a dynamic role with a ton of exposure.

• Support capital formation, valuations, and transaction closes for the deal team
• Fund finance across the PE platform — only 30% traditional fund accounting (grunt work outsourced to Citco)
• Mini-CFO style role with broad exposure across the firm
• Report directly to a senior leader with a strong track record of developing talent
