Job summary

PDT Partners in New York City is seeking a Finance Associate to join the FACT team. This hybrid role focuses on modernizing treasury, finance, tax, and reporting through data-driven improvements and process optimization.

You will rotate across treasury, fund reporting, and tax compliance, collaborate with operations and tech groups, and contribute to ad-hoc analyses and special projects. A 2–4 year background in finance or related fields is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional experience in Finance, Treasury, Data Science, MIS, Accounting or Tax.
• Basic programming skills or experience with AI-assisted tools to automate workflows.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Intellectual curiosity about the business and why behind processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop broad expertise by rotating across treasury, finance, fund reporting, and tax compliance.
• Support day-to-day FACT operations: cash management, margin analysis, tax estimates, compliance reporting, and counterparty management.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement data-driven solutions with internal teams.
• Liaise with external service providers such as prime brokers and accounting firms.
• Lead or contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses.
