Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York seeks a mid-level associate (class of 2022–2021) with general finance and corporate experience, including drafting and negotiating commitment papers, security and credit agreements, and other loan documents. A high academic record and solid law firm experience are preferred.

The starting base salary for this New York position is expected to be between $310,000-$365,000 annually, with eligibility for a discretionary year-end bonus.

Qualifications

• Mid-level associate (class of 2022–2021)
• Finance-focused experience including drafting and negotiating commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements and other loan documents
• UCC experience as well as general corporate experience
• High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements and other loan documents.
• Provide general corporate support related to financing transactions.
• Leverage UCC and financing knowledge on complex deals.
