Job summary

David, a growing consumer foods brand in New York City, is seeking a Finance Associate to own forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and go-to-market strategy. You will build demand models, translate insights into recommendations, and shape trade spend and product architecture to protect unit economics across channels.

You should have 2-4+ years in finance roles, advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years in investment banking, strategic finance, corporate finance, or FP&A.
• Expert Excel and financial modeling skills.
• CPG and/or inventory-based business experience is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights and communicate them clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain retailer-level and product-level demand models with Retail and Marketing.
• Support P&L budgeting and re-forecasting with profitability analysis by retailer, product, and SKU.
• Determine optimal pricing across channels, retailers, products, and pack sizes.
• Evaluate trade spend architecture and promotional performance for high-return investments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to surface opportunities across Supply Chain, Retail, and Marketing.
