Illapa Search Ltd, a leading law firm, seeks a Finance Associate to join its Ohio office. You will work on sophisticated financing transactions for borrowers, lenders, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and other market participants.

The role covers secured and unsecured lending, syndicated facilities, acquisition financing, leveraged finance, asset-based lending, refinancings, and related documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of finance or banking experience at a leading law firm or sophisticated transactional practice.
• Meaningful experience representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, or other sophisticated clients in financing transactions.
• Experience with secured and unsecured lending, syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financing, leveraged finance, asset-based lending, private credit, refinancings, or other commercial finance transactions.
• Strong understanding of credit agreements, security documents, guarantees, intercreditor arrangements, and related financing documentation.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated loan and financing documents.
• Ability to manage substantial transaction workstreams with increasing autonomy.
