Job summary

Bridgewater Associates is seeking a Finance Associate, Accounting, as part of the Corporate Accounting team. The role focuses on monthly close, internal reporting, and external audit coordination, while improving processes and applying AI tools for accuracy.

The position requires a CPA track or active certification, 1–3 years in accounting or audit, and strong Excel and financial systems experience. Westport, CT onsite role with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with strong academic record.
• 1–3 years of accounting or audit experience; Big 4 a strong plus.
• CPA or actively pursuing certification.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with AI tooling to review AI outputs for accuracy.
• Experience with financial systems such as Workday, Office Connect, Workiva.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate Accounting monthly close deliverables.
• Prepare financial information for internal stakeholders.
• Interact with external auditors during the audit process.
• Execute accounting processes over balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with ad hoc requests.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and automate tasks.
• Collaborate with Finance, technology, and vendor teams to drive changes.
