Job summary

Omni Austin is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to oversee daily accounting, reconcile ledgers, manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, taxes, cash, and controls. You’ll supervise hourly staff and coordinate with the Controller on on-site financial operations.

You’ll ensure timely month-end close, produce accurate financial statements, and support inter‑company reconciliations while upholding internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of accounting management experience, ideally in hospitality.
• Previous Assistant Director of Finance experience in a hotel is highly preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities including reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, and taxes.
• Coordinate on-site accounting functions with the Controller and serve as liaison for daily requests.
• Ensure timely month-end close and accurate financial statements.
• Maintain daily cash management, check balances, and reconcile accounts.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Assist with inter-company reconciliations and research requests.
