About Us
The Just One Project's mission is to increase access to food, resources, and supportive services to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community.
At The Just One Project, we believe that everyone deserves access to essential resources and the opportunity to thrive. Our team is made up of passionate, dedicated individuals who work together to create meaningful change throughout Southern Nevada.
Everything we do is guided by our core values: Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion, and by our Gold Standard of service. We believe every person we serve deserves to be treated with the same care, dignity, and respect you'd want for your own family. We're looking for someone who doesn't just believe in these values but brings them to life through their work, collaboration, and commitment to making a difference.
About the Role
As a Finance Assistant, you'll be doing more than working with numbers - you'll be helping support the financial foundation that makes our mission possible!
Behind every grocery delivery, community event, and supportive service we provide is a team working to ensure our resources are managed responsibly and effectively. As part of our Finance Department, you'll play an important role in keeping our financial operations organized, accurate, and running smoothly.
You'll assist with everyday accounting activities like processing invoices, tracking payments, reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records, and supporting grant-related documentation. You'll also work closely with our Finance team to help ensure the information we rely on is accurate, complete, and ready when it's needed.
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, organized, and comfortable working with numbers. Someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in getting the details right, and understands that accuracy and accountability matter just as much as efficiency.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a foundation in accounting or financial administration who wants to continue building their skills while contributing to meaningful work in the nonprofit sector.
