Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of income statement and balance sheet including posting to General Ledger and reconciliation
• Develop and maintain internal controls and reviews to ensure statement integrity
• Direct timely collection of receivables and liaise with customers as needed
• Oversee purchasing personnel to obtain cost-effective vendor solutions
• Support monthly financial reporting and local administrative initiatives
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; analyze revenue and cost variances
• Verify accuracy of accounting documents and records; manage finance needs with customers and vendors
• Monitor department work to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Provide training and supervision of staff and support corporate initiatives

Job description

Responsible for maintenance and integrity of income statement and balance sheet including:

• Accuracy of recording to the General Ledger including posting and reconciliation
• Development and maintenance of sufficient internal controls and reviews to ensure integrity of statements
• Direct and manage timely collection of receivables and ensuring customers adhere to terms agreed to, serving as liaison between company and customer where necessary
• Responsible for purchasing personnel and directing work to ensure most cost-effective solutions from vendors including competitive bids and timely delivery
• Responsible for timely and accurate support of all local initiatives of an administrative nature Ensure the timely reporting for all monthly financial information
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Analyze and articulate revenue and cost variances to budgets, forecasts and prior period results.
• Verifies the accuracy of accounting documents and records Managing and directing finance needs with customers and vendors
• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Ensure proper training and supervision of staff Responsible for timely and accurate support of all corporate initiatives, information requests and back-up assistance Performs other duties as assigned or required
