Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a seasoned financial analyst to conduct comprehensive financial and business analyses, develop forecasts, and prepare reports for management. You will build and maintain databases, lead ad hoc projects, and document conclusions for decision-makers.

The role requires 5–10 years in Accounting/Finance, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to stakeholders across the organization. Office-based with regular inter-site travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• 5-10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with MS Excel and/or MS Access.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Strong relationship-building skills and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and document financial analysis projects including ad hoc reports, data gathering, findings, and results.
• Develop forecasts and analyze financial reports and trends.
• Coordinate activities to ensure projects progress and meet deadlines.
• Prepare and present analyses to management at all levels.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases for reporting.
• Provide recommendations on reserves, assets, and expenditures.
• Create reports, graphs and charts of data; maintain data integrity.
