Job summary

Vizient is seeking a Finance Analytics & BI leader to design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards and analytics that support corporate targets. You will independently build complex visuals and data models from the ground up, sourcing data from Databricks and other enterprise sources, translating financial information into clear executive insights.

The role sits at the crossroads of Finance, Data Analytics, and BI; you will partner with Finance leaders to deliver monthly and quarterly

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in finance analytics, FP&A reporting, or related area.
• Demonstrated experience independently designing and building complex Power BI dashboards from requirements through deployment.
• Advanced Power BI development experience including data modeling, DAX, interactive visuals, and row-level security.
• Experience sourcing, transforming, validating, and modeling data from Databricks or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs; ability to translate requirements into scalable analytics.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, build, test, and maintain Power BI dashboards and data visualizations from the ground up.
• Develop scalable Power BI solutions with data models, calculated measures, slicers, drill-through, and row-level security.
• Source, transform, model, and validate data from Databricks and other enterprise data sources for finance reporting.
• Translate financial data into intuitive visuals and executive-level narratives for governance bodies.
• Collaborate with Finance leaders to gather requirements and define KPIs.
• Produce monthly and quarterly consolidated reporting for executives, Finance Committee and Board.
• Perform data reconciliation, validation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy of dashboards and data.
• Troubleshoot data-quality and reporting-logic issues with finance and technical teams.
• Support FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve dashboard performance.
