Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a financial analyst to perform forecasting, trend analysis, and reporting on financial results. The role involves developing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases, and presenting findings to management to support decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company
5-10 years of relevant, progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Experience with MS Excel and/or MS Access
Experience with Power BI
Strong relationship building skills
Ability to think strategically and act proactively to create trust with business units

Responsibilities

Prepare forecasts and financial analyses and report on results to management.
Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases to support analysis and reporting.
Present financial analyses and trends to management at various levels.
Analyze financial reports and records and explain variances.
Lead special financial projects within the department and coordinate with other groups.
Input and retrieve accounting data using PC or mainframe systems and generate reports.
