Job summary

GBH is seeking a Financial Analyst to manage budgets and forecasts for Technology and Facilities, providing strategic financial guidance and decision support. The role reports to the Director of FP&A and supports GBH-wide finance projects while ensuring accurate reporting and policy compliance.

Hybrid work arrangement requires onsite presence at least two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) with opportunities for additional days.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; 2–4 years of relevant finance experience.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, accounting and financial operations.
Familiarity with not-for-profit financials is a plus; ability to communicate complex financial concepts.

Responsibilities

Own and manage budgets and forecasts for Technology and Facilities units, including annual planning and monthly variance analysis.
Oversee financial reporting for key stakeholders and track progress against commitments.
Act as financial advisor to leadership, delivering recommendations to influence decisions.
Collaborate with Accounting for books and funder reporting.
Support vendor contracts and tenant agreements with Legal and Purchasing teams.
Maintain inventory and software asset management with IT and end-user support.
Ensure compliance with GBH policies in financial areas and drive process improvements.
