Job summary

The Georgia Department of Education Office of State Schools is seeking a Financial Analyst Supervisor to lead budgeting and financial operations for three state schools and the Outreach Program. You will report to the Central Office Financial Analyst Supervisor and coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of government accounting and budgeting processes.
• Experience with purchasing, vendor management and contract administration.
• GAAP certification preferred.
• Strong MS Office proficiency including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication among State Schools and the GaDOE Contracts Support Unit.
• Oversee contracts from initiation to closeout ensuring policy compliance.
• Perform procurement tasks including requisitions and receivers generation.
• Process accounts payable and receipts/invoices for payment.
• Reconcile My School Bucks cash management system and assist with Federal Programs budgeting and reporting.
• Support financial operations compliance with state and federal requirements; manage Pcard use and reconciliation.
