Job summary

NewEdge Power is a pure-play clean energy development platform focusing on utility-scale and distributed power across the United States. We are seeking a Finance Associate/Analyst to support our project finance, transaction, and corporate finance activity, with emphasis on modeling, reporting, and strategic analysis.

The role reports to the Senior Director Investments & Finance and offers a remote-first environment with occasional in-person team summits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or related field.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Understanding of project finance concepts (debt sizing, DSCR, tax equity, ITC/PTC).
• Strong PowerPoint and written communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Self-starter with a strong passion for the clean energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project-level and portfolio financial models for battery storage and solar assets, including contracted and merchant revenue, capex and opex, tax credits, debt sizing, and returns analysis.
• Support project and portfolio sales, joint ventures, and capital raises, including valuation, buyer and investor materials, data rooms, and diligence coordination.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for management, the Board, investors, and capital partners, including development spend tracking and partnership waterfall analysis.
• Support the annual corporate budget, forecasting, and cash management across the company’s project companies and holding entities.
• Prepare investment committee memos and presentations, and track market data including comparable transactions and tax credit policy.
