Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a seasoned financial analyst to perform comprehensive financial and business analyses, develop forecasts, and manage data through spreadsheets and databases. You will lead multiple analysis projects, prepare ad hoc reports, and present findings to management to guide decisions.

Your role requires 5–10 years in Accounting/Finance, strong Power BI and Excel skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in accounting/finance
• 5–10 years of relevant progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance
• Experience with MS Excel and/or MS Access
• Experience with Power BI
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Ability to think strategically and act proactively to create trust with business units
• Office-based with travel to various work sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and business related analyses and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases to facilitate analysis and reporting.
• Lead and document financial analysis projects including ad hoc reports and data gathering.
• Coordinate activities to ensure projects advance and finish within deadlines.
• Communicate with management on project status and results.
• Provide reasoning for variances and recommendations regarding reserves, assets, and expenditures.
