Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Finance Analyst for the Finance Leadership Development Program.

You will perform entry-level finance assignments and learn Caterpillar’s procedures, customers, dealers, and financial practices through diverse rotations. You will gain experience in financial management, analyze supplier finance strength, manage currency risks, and contribute to an investment strategy for a multi-billion-dollar retirement fund.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at a 4-year university in Finance, Economics or related major with minimum 18 hours of Finance coursework.
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA (Finance and cumulative).
• Degree must be completed before the hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of financial management directions and services to various partners including suppliers, subsidiaries, business units, dealers, and customers.
• Explore opportunities in multiple finance-related areas within the program.
• Manage multi-currency cash flows and foreign exchange/commodity risk.
• Execute an investment strategy for Caterpillar’s retirement fund.
• Analyze supplier financial strength and work with worldwide dealers to improve results.
