Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and financial forecasting. You will handle cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reporting for multifaceted construction projects.

This role involves working across field and office settings, with potential travel up to 50% and relocation as needed. A foundational background in accounting/finance and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management and/or equivalent
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country
• Travel and/or relocation may be required up to 50%
• Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups is preferred
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to access all parts of a construction site

Responsibilities

• Recognizes the importance of being a team player and helps in other areas as needed
• Fosters relationships with the Operations team and shows willingness to learn
• Understands payroll and HR process workflow and personnel systems
• Maintains purchasing workflow internal controls and invoice processing
• Supports accounts payable and client billing processes
• Assists with cost reporting and budgeting reviews for management
• Ensures cost/cost adjustments meet company standards and accounting rules
• Demonstrates strong time management and clear communication
