About The Role

As a CBRE Finance Sr. Analyst, you’ll apply advanced cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of CBRE clients and properties.

This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations function, responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You’ll Do
  • Complete intermediate to advanced-level accounting transactions for client financial statement packages.
  • Create and post journal entries, ensuring all expenses, receipts, owner’s distributions, funding requests, and other transactions are accurately posted.
  • Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization.
  • Respond to and resolve complex accounting issues and requests from management and clients.
  • Identify potential issues and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain and report benchmarks and performance metrics.
  • Apply standard principles and techniques to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of work within the team.
  • Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Explain complex information clearly to others.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience; experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Understanding of procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze solutions using technical experience and judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills for financial calculations.
