The Sr. Financial Analyst provides analytical support with a focus on economic research and financial analysis within assigned functions. The role involves performing in-depth and complex analysis in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Sr. Financial Analyst facilitates accurate systems that gather, analyze, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activities, and operating forecasts for management review.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review, reconcile, and consolidate complex financial data, collaborating with cross-divisional teams to resolve issues timely.
• Serve as a subject matter expert by providing in-depth analysis, review, and presentation of financial reports.
• Contribute to closing processes and support management with process improvements.
• Participate in process reviews, business analysis, and internal control testing to ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and other regulations.
• Act as a contact for cross-divisional teams and mentor staff as applicable.
• Assist with various projects as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• 5–8 years’ related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience, or a PhD without experience.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and email applications.
• Knowledge of ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion).
• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, with excellent communication skills.
