Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a Finance Analyst to perform financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting for an operational area. You will prepare journal entries, write reports, review variances, and partner with operators to drive financial performance.

Responsibilities include month-end closures, cost analysis, and preparing monthly variance reports for executive leadership, with a focus on forecasting and budgeting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end duties including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review net income statements and variance analysis with commentary.
• Assist in annual budgets and quarterly estimates, including headcount planning.
• Prepare and present monthly variance reports to executives.
• Analyze costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Support EH&S responsibilities per company policy.
• Collaborate with operating divisions and respond to ad hoc analyses.
• Other duties as assigned.
