Job summary

NBCUniversal Local Television in Orlando is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support daily financial operations for its Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers stations. You will partner with the Director of Finance to drive FP&A, forecasting, month-end close and operational finance activities.

The role requires strong analytical and collaborative skills to provide timely insights, ensure accurate financial records, and support budgeting, reporting and capital planning for multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities including journal entries, accruals and reclasses
• Build, maintain, and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and estimates
• Monitor actual versus budgeted spend and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Prepare consolidated close reporting packages and variance analyses
• Support capital planning and project pacing, reporting and closeouts
• Serve as primary finance contact for accounts payable activities and vendor management
• Provide financial support to local operations and department heads
• Assist with ad-hoc analyses, process improvements, and automation initiatives
• Maintain compliance with financial controls and accounting standards
