Job summary

Princeton IT Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support the IT Finance/Procurement function. The role covers accounts payable processing, vendor issue resolution, and daily financial operations with the Project managers to ensure timely payments.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Finance or related field, 4+ years in accounting analysis, and strong skills in PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office. This position may involve routine data reviews and metric reporting.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting analyst role.
• Minimum Of 2 Year Of Experience In PeopleSoft Finance/Procurement/Finance
• Detail understanding of Accounts payable
• Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Ability to independently set priorities and work with high accuracy

Responsibilities

• Assist AP in unmatched, unvouchered and rejected invoices.
• Support IT Finance staff with daily processes.
• Coordinate PO issues with Buyer to ensure timely payments.
• Generate, track and manage AP ageing reports.
• Address delinquent accounts per 30-day payment terms.
• Perform cost/spend analysis and report trends.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Procurement and Finance to expedite payments.
• Maintain vendor relationships and review statements.
• Resolve vendor disputes with Finance.
• Identify procedural gaps and recommend solutions.
• Create receipts in PeopleSoft.
• Review large data samples and analyze results.
• Prepare weekly AP transaction metrics.
