Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking an Analyst II, Finance to support financial operations through analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and consistency while delivering insights to guide business decisions. You will work with Accounting, Contract/Legal, Service Delivery, and Sales to resolve disputes, prepare aging reports, and participate in month-end close activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 1-5 years' experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Knowledge of financial statements and analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and ability to negotiate with a variety of internal/external constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and reserves.
• Prepare customer reports and aging analysis.
• Manage dispute intake and track issues through resolution.
• Partner with Contract and Legal on contractual disputes.
• Engage with Service Delivery teams on design and delivery-related disputes.
• Collaborate with Sales to address customer financial issues.
• Process dispute resolutions and applicable customer credits.
• Participate in dispute and collection meetings with customers.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up and issue resolution.
• Help maintain accurate records and reporting related to customer account activity.

About The Role

The Analyst II, Finance supports financial operations through analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for helping drive accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across financial processes while providing insights that support business decisions. The position works closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate information, identify issues, and contribute to the achievement of departmental and organizational goals.

What You'll Do

• Support Accounting with month-end close activities and reserves.
• Prepare and maintain customer reports and aging analysis.
• Manage dispute intake and track issues through resolution.

Do You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Requires 1-5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to communicate and negotiate with a variety of internal and external constituencies.
• Strong managerial, planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, analytical, and lateral thinking skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

The starting compensation range for this job is $50,000 to $64,300. Our compensation approach is designed to be fair and competitive. Pay for this role is based on factors such as your experience, skills, education, and location.
