Job description

The Finance Analyst will collaborate with the accounting and finance teams to provide centralized support for project financial data and contract details. This role will be responsible for overseeing project setup and maintaining centralized databases containing essential contractual information related to revenue recognition, invoicing, and other accounting functions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of project data across multiple databases.
• Perform project setup for all new projects, including working directly with Account Services and Business Development managers to ensure accuracy of setup.
• Perform accounting and contract review for all new contracts, including loading new contracts into the accounting system.
• Project and budget setup including performing quality control checks across multiple systems and interfaces.
• Maintain a log of project setup variances and manage process of corrections across required systems.
• Research, develop, and maintain historical datasets.
• Liaise with Account Services to gather and track operational data.
• Gather and maintain project data for revenue events such as attendance (HCP) data, type, payment amount, and unpaid attendance tracking.
• Maintain central data files in support of project revenue recognition and forecasting tools.
• Maintain routine operational performance metrics such as utilization, network membership, and other financial KPIs.
• Support financial analysis related to product profitability and pricing.
• Support ad hoc requests and miscellaneous special projects as needed.

Education, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-3 years’ experience as a financial analyst, preferably in a project-based environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Power BI is a plus
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
