Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams that ship production software — as a manager, tech lead, or player‑coach.
• Hands‑on depth building AI systems and fluency in data/system architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO org (FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Procurement) to find high‑value problems and turn them into AI applications, agents, and automation.
• Set the technical direction and quality bar for how Finance builds and ships AI, learning and deploying emerging technologies.
• Stay hands‑on — review designs and code and set engineering quality standards for agents, retrieval pipelines, and model integrations.
• Own the evaluation of external AI vendors end to end: define criteria, run POCs/build‑vs‑buy analyses, and compare capability and cost.
