Job summary

SoFi is seeking an Associate AI Engineer, Finance Transformation to build agentic AI workflows transforming Finance operations from close and reconciliations to forecasting and reporting.

You will work with the AI Transformation Manager and platform teams to prototype, validate, and productionize multi-step AI workflows, while developing Finance fluency and SQL skills for decision support.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/DS/AI or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, and portfolio of projects.
• Proficient in Python for automation and prototyping.
• SQL knowledge with finance-grade rigor to be developed.

Responsibilities

• Build multi-step AI workflows and agentic orchestration for Finance processes.
• Own AI telemetry: usage, cost, ROI reporting across Finance AI tools.
• Contribute to the experience layer for Finance AI interactions.
• Validate AI outputs before informing reconciliations and reporting.
• Prototype use cases and partner with SDLC for production readiness.
• Develop Finance domain fluency and SQL rigor in seat.
