Job summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a Senior Finance AI & Automation Developer to design, build, and deploy automation and AI-powered solutions across Finance processes.

You will lead cross-functional projects, partner with IT for access and governance, and scale successful pilots across the organization. The role focuses on eliminating manual tasks, accelerating reporting cycles, and enabling scalable workflows in Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, and/or Finance or equivalent.
• Project Management experience required.
• Digital Process Automation experience required.
• AI workflow experience required.
• AI Agent creation experience required.
• App building experience required (personal and/or professional).
• AI-generated coding experience required (e.g. Claude Code, Codex).
• Azure experience required.
• Strong understanding of data structure and APIs required.
• Experience with Python and/or other coding languages.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent based on project volume and scope.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automation solutions across Finance processes.
• Lead transformation projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Execute Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Query initiatives.
• Develop AI agent and chatbot projects for finance.
• Implement AI workflow and predictive modeling projects.
• Educate Finance team on AI tools and applications.
• Document projects and manage change; administer Finance SharePoint site.
• Support ad hoc finance initiatives and tasks.
