Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Principal Automation & AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of automation, AI, analytics, and operational intelligence capabilities for a global technology organization.

You will drive scalable engineering solutions, enable data-driven decision making, and improve service reliability across cloud, infrastructure, and IT operations in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–9 years in automation engineering or software development with 3+ years in RPA/AI/automation.
• Practical experience building AI/ML models using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Azure AI.
• Strong programming in Python, C#, .NET, PowerShell; REST APIs and data pipelines.
• CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices for automation development and deployment.
• Cloud platforms knowledge (AWS, Azure, Snowflake), containers, serverless.
• APIs, middleware, iPaaS, and enterprise integrations including ServiceNow/ITSM.
• Analytical problem-solving; Agile ceremonies; mentoring.
• Documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA workflows and AI/ML models.
• Build enterprise-scale automation solutions for cloud, infra, service management.
• Create AI-powered workflows, copilots, and intelligent agents.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks, APIs, integrations, self-service.
• Leverage ML, generative AI, and predictive analytics to detect risks and trends.
• Establish development standards, testing, security controls, governance.
