Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Virginia is seeking a Finance Administrator - Cashier to manage monetary funds, issue and receive cashier banks, process deposits daily, and audit banks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

As part of our team, you will maintain daily financial information, communicate discrepancies to management, and support cash handling operations with precise reporting. Lead with Love and deliver unforgettable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Micros System and cash register equipment experience helpful.
• At least one year of progressive hotel experience with cash handling preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare Cash Short/Over Reports daily, monthly, and yearly and advise management on variances.
• Maintain records of all funds transferred to/from the bank.
• Ensure adequate control on the General Cashier’s fund per resort standards.
• Ensure cashier operating equipment is in good condition (cash drawers, vaults, card devices).
• Maintain inventory of cashier supplies (deposit envelopes, vouchers, etc.).
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Finance Administrator - Cashier

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seekin g a Finance Administrator - Cashier . In this position, the Finance Cashier is responsible for maintaining the monetary fund's of the resort, issuing and receiving all cashier's banks, processing of all deposits on a daily basis, auditing banks regularly, preparing reliable daily financial information and communicating all omissions and deviations to appropriate management.

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Cash Short/Over Reports on a daily, monthly and yearly basis, and advise management on material variances in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain a complete record of all funds transferred to and from the bank.
• Ensure adequate control on the General Cashier’s fund in accordance with resort standards.
• Ensure that all cashier’s operating equipment is in good condition and working order (cash drawers, cashier vaults, credit card equipment, etc.) if applicable.
• Maintain adequate inventory of cashier supplies, includ ing deposit envelopes, credit card vouchers, and other printed materials.
• Performs special projects and other responsibilities as assigned .

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required .
• Micros System and cash register equipment experience helpful.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred . Prior cash handling is required .
