Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from a regionally accredited college.
• MBA acceptable; if MBA, requires twelve graduate credits in Finance or Accounting and a Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Teaches an assigned academic course schedule in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Studies within a classroom setting.
• Demonstrates teaching effectiveness through curriculum development and evaluation
• Maintains accessibility and advises students in academic matters related to Finance and Accounting
• Supervises student learning activities and maintains records of progress and achievements
• Participates in recruitment, retention activities, career and job fairs, orientations, and awards ceremonies
• Engages with the community with professional activities in Finance and Accounting
• Stays current in the field through professional associations and training
• Observes academic policies and institutional rules
• Serves on campus or system committees and teams
• Complies with health, safety, and civil rights policies
• Performs other duties as assigned
